To ensure implementation of South Asia Corporate Affairs strategy, guidelines and processes
To work with the South Asia Corporate Affairs Leadership Teams to support and drive Strategic Agenda priorities and business vision, culture, values and frameworks
To work with an extended group of leaders and communicators in the region to apply consistent internal and external communication strategy and support them as they implement regional programs, and close cooperation with the corporate communications team
Corporate Affairs & Reputation Management
Build a Pakistan Corporate Affairs & Reputation Management Strategy, identifying key stakeholders (government, NGOs, media, investors, academics etc.)
Deliver pro-active reputation management through stakeholder management using targeted media releases, speeches and publications
Provide South Asia inputs to the annual cycle of events associated with global reputation management, including inputs to the Annual Report, position papers, press releases and general events Media Relations
Establish and maintain a Public Relations network (journalists, trade organizations, magazines, e.g.).
Support the Pakistan leadership teams with position papers, presentations and speeches as necessary
Develop Pakistan communication strategy for internal and external stakeholders in close coordination with management and South Asia Head of Corporate Affairs.
Develop and secure the corporate identity, in line with the Syngenta Brand and Communications policy.
Build awareness, understanding, engagement and commitment for the regional Strategic Agenda and business vision as well as the overall Syngenta strategy, culture and values.
In co-operation with Marketing initiate and maintain strong branding programs throughout the chain (growers, retailers and potential consumers).
Develop effective communication channels and produce communication materials including internet / intranet and South Asia editing for SA times, ensuring a flow of news, stories and features.
Responsible for building a country network of contributors
Produce materials, such as toolkits with common standards and templates, that can be shared and adapted at local level to help achieve consistent messages and look and feel’
Develop and implement communication plans in connection with organizational change activity including building
awareness, understanding, engagement and commitment for the Strategic Agenda and other programs including Syngenta Awards
Work with South Asia Communications on implementation of key internal and external communications projects
As a member of the South Asia crisis team, develop crisis communications plan as necessary to support corporate reputation.
Degree from a reputed university in a relevant field
Strong experience with Corporate and Public Affairs, Public Relation and Government Affairs
Must be confident, diplomatic and have solid interpersonal skills
