Your Responsibilities : Job Purpose :

Job Purpose :

The purpose of this job is to manage the operations of Non-Lactam Production, so the products are delivered

and supplied in full and on time to the patients at the end of our supply chain in compliance with the safety,

Quality and cost effective.

Key Responsibilities : Production


To ensure the agreed daily / weekly / monthly production plan for Non-Lactam Production.

Develop production strategies to achieve targets while utilizing resources for optimal output

Leading in the daily production meeting in a coaching manner to ensure that all team

members are clear.

Building a performance culture by using systems of measurement to continuously

improve on key performance indicators

Maximum utilization of resources for delivery of quality products and to improve KPIs.

Participate in the site leaders team and provide valuable inputs

Effectively implement GPS within the Non-Lactam Production

Plant efficiencies ensuring the optimum use of materials and resources and

development of best in class practices.

Embed OE culture within the production team

Identify, develop and implement improvement / Operational Excellence (OE) projects to

generate cost savings (Strategy Deployment).

Involve in investigations into incidents and ensure root cause is identified

Ensure appropriate corrective and preventive actions are implemented


To ensure in-time BPCS data posting by the team members.


Using relevant training options to enhance the skills and knowledge of self and

potential future GSK leaders

Provide training to new inductees and existing staff as on and when required

Ensure to maintain the training record of down the line staff

Ensure trainings are provided before the given deadline

Change Control

Persuade the staff in origination of change controls and meet the timeline for action closer

Attend area related change control meetings and provide valuable information as required

Quality Compliances

Involve in right first time performance

Maintain the department in 'Inspection Ready' state all the time.

Raise deviation as needed

Make certain 100% SOP In-place In-use within the specified timeline.

Involve and support in conducting L1 inspection against approved schedule.

Ensure effective CAPA preparation and implementation by team and monitor the timely

closures of observations related to L1, L2, L3 & L4

Lead investigations into incidents and ensure root cause is identified

Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental compliance in the Plant.

Support the team in conducting Risk assessment & CRAs.

Ensure the embedding of living safety culture

Ensure EHS standards compliance by providing the support in EHS L1 audit; record

observations, preparation of CAPA and timely closures.

Ensure LOTO application in Production.


Support in CAPEX planning at site and support in Support in annual budgeting exercise and provide inputs regarding production standards,

capacity requirements to achieve projected plans.

Seeking to raise levels of performance by establishing an improvement process, or

setting specific, measurable targets and goals linked to GSK business needs

Risk Management

Create the culture of Risk identification and enter into RMS

Ensure risk assessment are conducted within the department

Ensure the identified risks are communicated to relevant stakeholders

Basic qualifications :

B-Pharm / Pharm-D (Industrial Pharmaceuticals)

Managerial or leadership experience upto 5-7 years

Preferred qualifications :
