Your Responsibilities : Job Purpose :

Job Purpose :

Ensure packaging lines are running smoothly to fulfill production plan with target OEE. Actively participate and co-ordinate with production, engineering and packaging material control laboratory to resolve the packaging line problems.

Implement operational excellence using tools like Lean, Six Sigma and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) etc

Key Responsibilities :

  • Comply and ensure compliance to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), Quality and other related policies, guidelines and requirements as applicable by law and GSK Corporate Guidelines.
  • Comply and ensure compliance to Environment, Health and Safety policies, guidelines and requirements as applicable by law and GSK Corporate Guidelines.
  • Prepare and execute the packaging validation of packaging machines across site with respect to the products and monitoring of protocols and reports in a timely manner
  • Provide support in the preparation of validation master plan and ensure the Validation Master Plan is in compliance in terms of packaging validation activities as per GSK corporate guideline.
  • Lead the packaging operations team to support immediate issues that occur on the shop floor during packaging. Main focus is first line support, with main emphasis on batch release in quality, on time and on the short time horizon.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and fundamental knowledge of function and properties of packaging materials for the products manufactured.
  • Support or lead trouble shooting, related to packaging issues, liaising with shop floor operators, line management and support functions (e.g. engineering).
  • Responsible for technical deviation investigation, robust CAPA and relevant follow-up, lead product packaging related investigations including complaints.
  • Partner with packaging to ensure of the production processes is in conformity with up-to-date, registered, filled manufacturing process, approved instruction, cGMP and Health Authority regulations.
  • Provide technical information and support to define the technical standards of training for packaging related matter with production, to maximize process understanding, to enhance knowledge based decision making in order to maximize quality and efficiency.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to support inspection and audits.
  • Share responsibility with the other leadership roles in production for the compliance of health, safety regulations, adherence to SOPs and applicable guidelines and regulations.
  • Support and execute continuous improvement actions and projects, e.g. to improve packaging process capability, throughput time (TPT), minimize waster of materials and reworks.
  • Create process / cGMP risk analysis.
  • Any other responsibility assigned from time to time as per business requirements.
  • Basic qualifications :

  • B.E in Industrial Engineering.
  • Desirable MSc. / M.E or equivalent
  • Preferred qualifications :

  • B.E in Industrial Engineering.
  • Desirable MSc. / M.E or equivalent
  • 0 - 3years experience in process and packaging support role on the shop floor of GMP manufacturing
